Today two pre-orders from Individual Computer arrived.

I'll cover the 2nd package another time, but first and most importantly, I want to unpack and use the Compact Amiga Power Supply Unit (CA-PSU) icomp.de/shop-icomp/en/…

While unpacking, I'm playing: D-3000 by Dr J of Pulsar

Currently I own two modern Amiga PSUs:

Amiga PSU by C64PSU: c64psu.com/c64psu/56-517-…

And the PWR1_rev 2 by Lotharek.

I was quite unhappy with this one because I had crawls in my picture due to insufficient power filtering. Maybe my unit was bad, but in addition the case design turned out to be very inviting to dust bunnies.

The new CA-PSU will replace the PWR1_rev 2 on my main desk. The PSU has two parts: The bulky power brick connected to mains that you can tuck away and the small DC/DC converter with a power switch, which is near the computer. Perfect solution.

I think the sticker should be reversed? ¿oןןǝɥ

Love the design of the box! Here's an Epyx Fastload Reloaded by @futurewas8bit next to it. Best pals just 8 bit apart.

First test was perfect. Clean power: No distortion on the screen. And more room on my desk.

But that upside-down sticker... My monk feels triggered.
